Children of the Promise: As Long as I Have You by Dean Hughes

Updated: Sep 22, 2018

Star Rating: 5/5

References to: Violence, insanity, family issues, mental health, aftermath of war, and poverty.

The War has finally ended and the world ahead will never be the same. The Thomases have made it through mostly unscathed, but are now trying to find their own version of normal again. The men are suffering from PTSD, families and friends around them are also falling apart and struggling. Can families be forever even if their members are no longer whole again?

I gave it a 5/5 Rating because this is an AMAZING end to the perfect book series! Faith has been tried, lives lost, worlds torn apart, and yet there is still hope shining through no matter what. This is an amazing series that everyone should read!
